Role: Part-time, Independent Contractor – Commission based compensation
Note: All travel and commuting expenses are at the instructor’s expense.

The Cornell Creative Arts Center offers a unique opportunity for artists, educators, and emerging instructors to share their talents through engaging workshops that foster creativity, inclusion, cultural diversity, and community connection.

We welcome proposals in a wide range of disciplines, including drawing, painting, digital arts, dance and movement, ceramics, sculpture, theater, music, and multicultural traditional arts. Workshops are open to participants of all ages, backgrounds, and ability levels.

As we expand our Fall 2026 programming, we are especially seeking instructors interested in offering semester-long classes and multi-week learning experiences. These extended programs allow students to develop skills over time while helping to build a vibrant and consistent creative community.

As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to design your own course, determine your schedule, and set your pricing. Workshop registrations are shared through a 50/50 revenue split between the instructor and the Arts Center. Instructors should be prepared to actively promote their offerings and engage their own networks while benefiting from the Arts Center’s marketing support and established community presence.
